     NISID HAJARI is Asia Editor for Bloomberg View, the editorial board of Bloomberg News, and author of Midnight's Furies: The Deadly Legacy of India's Partition, winner of the Colby Award for military and international affairs. The book is also a finalist for the Council on Foreign Relations' Arthur Ross Book Award and the Shakti Bhatt Prize.
